don’t mind me, just posting sticker designs for Anime NEXT… I drew up a lot so far and now that I have painter 12 i can finally color ‘em. haha.

Amaterasu, Chibiterasu, Moogle/Mog[!], and Totoro…. testing a different cel shading method… dunno if I like it. OH WELL. >:C

Day 05: Your Favorite Console Game

Silent Hill (Franchise), Okami, Alan Wake

Arg it’s so hard to narrow it all down! haha…. Finally settled on my top 3, otherwise you all would have been SPAMMED! I summed it up to the top 3 games that really impacted me in some way, those being the Silent Hill series, Alan Wake, and Okami. Silent Hill IS horror IMO, and the very first game way back in 1999 solidified that mindset for me. No other game (or anything else really) gave me nightmares. That game did. And I have loved the series ever since, even if it got a little wonky later on.

Alan Wake I already rambled about previously, but again… Fantastic game and tremendous storyline. News of new content involving the Wakeverse has me thrilled.

Okami is just beautiful. Downright beautiful. it deserves to be in the Smithsonian on display. The visuals, the art style, the music, everything about this game is absolutely stunning. If you haven’t played this game and own a PS2 Do yourself a favor and buy it. You won’t regret it. (I myself still need to play Okamiden, but that’s another matter.)

And yes… A DRAWN IMAGE! And it is zany. I like zany. if you can figure out all the little nuances from all the games smashed together you get a hug and a cookie.

sketch concept for a print for Anime NEXT 2011… I never to got a table for it, so I didn’t go. So this remains unfinished… [idea: videogame equivalent to an animal shelter/ASPCA shelter… I am a weird, strange individual. ]

Maybe one day I’ll finish this thing… hahaha!
